  3. Save the delivery photo. Check whether it shows your property, the neighbour’s address, a communal area, or no clear address at all.

Is delivery to a neighbour allowed?

Under section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods generally remain at the trader’s risk until they come into the physical possession of the consumer or a person identified by the consumer to take possession.

If the neighbour says they do not have it, write down the date and what they said. Then go back to the retailer and explain that the parcel has not been recovered.
